comes from the Mundaka Upanishad<\/strong>, the final chapter of the sacred Hindu Vedas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>National Emblem is the symbol of authority and is present in all the official communications of the government.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the&nbsp;<strong>original, there are four lions<\/strong>, mounted back to back,&nbsp;<strong>on a circular abacus<\/strong>, which&nbsp;<strong>itself rests on a bell-shaped lotus<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The frieze of the abacus has sculptures in&nbsp;<strong>high relief of an elephant, a galloping horse, a bull and a lion<\/strong>&nbsp;separated by intervening&nbsp;<strong>Dharma Chakras<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The profile of the&nbsp;<strong>Lion Capital showing three lions mounted on the abacus with a Dharma Chakra in the centre<\/strong>, a&nbsp;<strong>bull on the right and a galloping horse on the left<\/strong>, and outlines of&nbsp;<strong>Dharma Chakras on the extreme right and<\/strong>&nbsp;left was adopted as the State Emblem of India on January 26, 1950.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The&nbsp;<strong>bell-shaped lotus was omitted<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The National Emblem of India can only be used in accordance with the provisions of the <strong>State Emblem of India (Prohibition of Improper Use) Act-2005<\/strong>, and any unauthorized use is illegal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lotusarise.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/National-Emblem-Of-India.png\" alt=\"National Emblem Of India\" class=\"wp-image-21538\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"facts\">Facts about the National Emblem of India<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Emperor Ashoka erected the Ashoka pillar, which has four lions seated back to back, symbolizing power, courage, confidence, and pride.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Horse, bull, elephant, and lion<\/strong> are among the other animals depicted on the pillar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The<strong> elephant represents Buddha&#8217;s beginning (Buddha&#8217;s mother dreamed of a white elephant entering her womb at the moment of Buddha&#8217;s conception).<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>bull represents Buddha&#8217;s zodiac sign, Taurus.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>horse is a representation of Buddha&#8217;s steed, which he rode when he left the fortress.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Enlightenment is symbolized by the lion.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Craftsmen from the same area crafted all of the Ashoka Pillars out of stone from Chunar and Mathura.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each pillar, which stands 40 to 50 feet tall and weighs up to 50 tonnes, was dragged to the site where it was raised.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only six of the pillars with animal capitals and nineteen of the pillars with inscriptions have survived.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The pillars&#8217; carvings depicted proclamations about morality based on Buddhist ideas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Below the National, Emblem has imprinted the words &#8220;Satyameva Jayate,&#8221; which means &#8220;Truth Alone Triumphs.&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>slogan &#8216;Satyameva Jayate&#8217;
